Interaction Design is a diverse and dynamic field of practice which explores the design of interactive environments, products, systems, spaces, and experiences. Designing for interactions continues to be a transformative field of design within contemporary society, encompassing a range of practices from sustainability, usability, and collaboration to the evocative, playful and expressive. New design pathways continue to emerge, creating widespread opportunities for interaction designers, user experience specialists, and creative technologists. At QUT, our interaction design students explore the boundaries between beings and technology, uncovering opportunities for design intervention and exploration within these spaces.
