Aura Weaver

Aura Weaver is an interactive digital experience that visualises the unseen relationship between emotion, energy, and motion through generative design. The concept explores how colour, rhythm, and movement can embody emotional states, transforming intangible feelings into tangible, evolving visuals. Inspired by the organic flow of textiles and the way emotions weave through human experience, the project positions digital space as a canvas for reflection and self-connection.

I invite users to engage intuitively create viusal representations of their thoughts. your interactions alter the composition’s colour, speed, and intensity, mirroring the dynamic nature of emotional balance. It aims to evoke mindfulness through motion, offering users a moment of calm observation and creative curiosity.

By blending principles of generative art, emotional design, and human-computer interaction, Aura Weaver demonstrates how technology can move beyond function becoming a poetic medium for emotional storytelling and digital embodiment.

During our week 10 workshops, we were given the opportunity to conduct user-testing on our prototypes to gain feedback, insight, perspective, and most importantly a clear pathway toward finalising our designs. The project explores how visual and auditory stimuli can be woven together to communicate mood and perception in a tactile, sensory format. Through colour, movement, and rhythm, the prototype invites users to engage with emotional data as if it were a living fabric, constantly shifting in response to their interaction.

The program works by the user interacting with the quiz and the quiz using its knowledge to give users a coloured aura based on their answers. There are four different types of emotions that will be demonstrated throughout the quiz and each user by the end of it have a certain percentage of some emotion more than others and some less than others. This will dictate the colours.

The user will then be able to go into depth of understanding their aura and also using it as an interactive art piece.
