GrARffiti is an augmented reality application designed to merge street art with immersive digital interaction to create a multi-layered experience. The app allows users to create, view, and share graffiti artworks in augmented reality, bringing creativity off the walls and into shared digital spaces. GrARffiti’s purposefully adds another layer for artists to add meaning and value towards their Graffiti artwork.

The final prototype design of GrARffiti provides the viewing experience of the app. The app layers augmented reality on-top of real-life graffiti, providing another layer to experience street-art. The design concept was to bring value to graffiti and change the public’s negative outlook on street-art by providing a new experience towards viewing the art. The graffiti being demonstrated in the prototype is a mural by Banksy called Love is In The Air (Flower Thrower) found in Palestine, 2003.
