Parkpal

ParkPal reimagines city parking through an interactive, user-focused experience. By integrating predictive heatmaps, AR guidance, and real-time feedback, the app helps drivers quickly locate available spaces and reduce traffic stress. The project demonstrates how interaction design and data visualization can make urban mobility smarter and more human-centered.

Parkpal

Made your Park simple

ParkPal reimagines the urban parking experience through a user-centered app that reduces stress and uncertainty.

Using predictive AI heatmaps, AR navigation, and real-time feedback, ParkPal helps drivers easily locate nearby spaces and navigate directly to them. The design emphasizes safety, clarity, and emotional comfort through minimal visual distractions and intuitive interaction.

Developed through iterative prototyping and user testing, ParkPal demonstrates how intelligent mobility design can make everyday city travel smoother and smarter.

Login & Onboarding Flow

The Welcome and Login screens of ParkPal are designed to offer a smooth and intuitive entry experience for users. Upon opening the app, users are greeted with a clean “Welcome” screen featuring clear options to Login or Sign Up, supported by a calm background and minimal distractions to maintain focus.

The next screen introduces a mobile number verification process — a simple, secure method that ensures quick access without the need for complex passwords. Users can either enter their number manually or select their country code from the dropdown menu.

To enhance accessibility and convenience, alternative login options are provided via Google, Facebook, or Apple ID, allowing users to connect through their preferred platform. The overall interaction emphasizes simplicity, trust, and efficiency, aligning with ParkPal’s mission to make every parking experience seamless from the very first tap.

Confirmation, Loading & Home Interface

After completing the login and verification process, users are greeted with a confirmation screen that celebrates successful registration — a positive, reassuring message stating “Your account is ready to use!” reinforces trust and accomplishment. The clear ‘Go to Home’ button invites users to seamlessly proceed to the next step.

The following loading animation screen features a car icon that visually connects to the app’s theme, creating anticipation while maintaining user engagement during short wait times. This simple motion keeps the experience smooth without unnecessary complexity.

The final screen introduces the Home Page, where users can explore real-time parking availability through an interactive heatmap visualization. The color-coded display helps users quickly identify available parking zones nearby. Additional features, such as hourly pricing, rating, and AR navigation, enhance decision-making and efficiency. Together, these screens ensure a consistent and user-friendly transition from setup to daily use — embodying ParkPal’s mission of making parking simpler, faster, and more intuitive.

AR Navigation, Search & Filter

AR Navigation, Search & Filter

These screens demonstrate ParkPal’s core interactive features that enhance both spatial awareness and decision-making in parking.
The AR View integrates real-world surroundings with digital overlays, allowing users to visually locate nearby parking spaces with directional accuracy. This immersive experience reduces confusion and supports situational understanding during navigation.

The Search interface simplifies exploration by allowing users to type or voice input a location, instantly displaying relevant parking results with map-based context. Complementing this, the Filter panel enables users to sort parking options by distance, rating, or duration, and to toggle features like deals or pricing caps.

Together, these interactions showcase ParkPal’s mission to merge predictive intelligence with intuitive design, transforming the way users perceive and access urban parking environments.
